Dear Citizens of Blount County,

     It's important that citizens take an active role in our government to ensure accountability and efficiency in our government.  Frequently I voice my concerns to legislators, friends, family and others that will listen.  Expressing my concerns is usually palpable and easy for me, but writing about myself is neither because I do not want to be boastful in anyway. 

     In a Constitutional Republic it's vital to know your legislators and hold them accountable for their actions.  Government must work for the people, not the other way around. 

     I am not a rich or famous person, but I am active person that strongly believes in our great Constitution, liberty, responsible government and public service.  There are many ways that government can serve us better and you will find some ideas on this website.  If you have suggestions on how to improve our government, making it more efficient, please share those suggestions with me.

     Together, we can take back our lead role as citizens directing government.
